SHAPING THE LANDSCAPE OF THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THE CAPELLI TOWERS IN BELVAL, LUXEMBOURG
First of all, in the heart of Belval, Luxembourg, the Capelli Towers rise to bring new energy to this rapidly evolving district. To enhance these two outstanding towers, we designed a bespoke landscaping solution that highlights the urban dynamics of the area. Corten steel planters for the forecourt
We deployed all our expertise in rolling, folding and welding to manufacture various bottomless planters in 3 mm corten steel, sandblasted, activated and stabilised. In addition, their design includes internal reinforcements and concealed fixings to ensure a self-supporting structure and a clean aesthetic. As a result, these planters seamlessly integrate into the industrial and contemporary spirit of Belval. Moreover, some planters include FSC-certified exotic wood benches, offering comfortable, welcoming seating areas that also meet durability standards.
Roof gardens with powder-coated aluminium
Next, for the landscaping of the Capelli Towers rooftops, we opted for 5 mm thick aluminium planters, powder-coated in MARS 2525 finish. This coating effectively protects against corrosion while delivering a modern aesthetic. The curved panels and 40 mm returns benefit from reinforced gussets for enhanced stability and durability. Each planter also features custom openings for maintenance and irrigation, facilitating plant care at height. Thanks to these technical solutions, each rooftop becomes a distinctive green space that remains accessible and easy to maintain.
Stylish seating and tailor-made installation
Finally, we provided rectangular and square benches in FSC-certified exotic wood, mounted on anti-corrosion-treated metal frames. With their visible fixings, these benches enhance user comfort and match the clean design of the planters. Thus, by combining corten steel, powder-coated aluminium and exotic wood, we designed a landscaped layout for Capelli Towers Belval Luxembourg that is both resolutely contemporary and perfectly functional.
