A landscaped patio: a green and welcoming space in the heart of the city
Design, manufacturing, delivery
Located within the KAD building of the European Parliament in Luxembourg, this patio is a true haven of peace for employees and visitors. This green patio landscaping was designed as a relaxation and social space, accessible only to pedestrians. It blends perfectly into the architecture and urban environment of Luxembourg.
We worked with the goal of delivering a solution that was both visually appealing and functional, turning this space into a welcoming setting for well-being and social interaction.

The European Parliament buildings see constant foot traffic. It was therefore essential to create a landscaped patio that meets the day-to-day needs of parliamentary life:
- Clearly defined walking paths to ease movement
- Comfortable seating to encourage rest and conversation
- A plant palette tailored to the Luxembourg climate and specific site conditions

To personalize this KAD patio, we designed bespoke borders and seating.
Thanks to our expertise in metal rolling, folding and welding, we used corten steel, painted steel and aluminium to integrate these elements seamlessly into the contemporary architecture of the Parliament:
- The borders protect and frame the glazed structures, while enhancing the patio’s natural light
- The seating ensures optimal comfort and blends perfectly with the green setting
