CUSTOMISED URBAN LANDSCAPING TO ENHANCE THE ECO-NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located at the intersection of the D6015 and D43, the bespoke urban gardens in corten steel in Maromme bring new momentum to this eco-neighbourhood. The goal was to create a welcoming space for residents, highlighting biodiversity and environmental quality. These circular installations offer a pleasant break for passers-by, set in an already wooded environment ideal for relaxation. The choice of location also creates a smooth transition between pedestrian, cycle and vehicle traffic flows.

Custom urban gardens with a conical design
We opted for an almost conical design, achieved through precise rolling of corten steel. Benches and backrests made of raw exotic wood were integrated — a naturally durable wood, resistant to weather and heavy use. Soft, rounded shapes define the space, creating islands of greenery. To accentuate the visual contrast, corten steel edging surrounds planted areas selected for their resistance and year-round aesthetic value.
