Creating a green and shaded space in the heart of a dense residential area: this achievement provides residents with a place for social interaction, relaxation and reconnection with nature.
This project fully reflects our expertise in the design and manufacture of bespoke urban furniture, implemented here with edging systems, bottomless planters and planted arches, designed by landscape architect Créartmonie.

Custom-made edgings with integrated seating
To encourage comfort and sociability, ATECH designed and manufactured custom edging systems in painted aluminium, with integrated elegant and durable seats.
- Comfort and design: the clean, refined lines allow for a harmonious integration into the urban environment.
- Meticulous manufacturing: the aluminium’s strength and the high-quality paint ensure excellent durability, even in harsh outdoor conditions.
- Tailor-made: each component was designed to fit the site’s specific constraints (dimensions, slopes, accessibility) for a perfectly integrated installation.
Bottomless planters to support plant growth
To structure and green the space, ATECH designed and built bottomless planters in painted steel. These planters also support the arches while concealing their anchoring systems.
- Promoting root development: without a bottom, the planters allow roots to grow freely in the ground, ensuring healthy plant growth and long-term sustainability.
- Modularity and aesthetics: the choice of colours and sizes adds rhythm to the esplanade while lending it a warm and contemporary feel.
Corten steel arches to support climbing plants
As the key architectural feature of this layout, the arches in activated and stabilised corten steel provide height, visual structure, and a plant-covered canopy.
- Vertical emphasis: the imposing arches create a strong visual signature that contrasts with the surrounding horizontal architecture.
- Welcoming nature: designed to be covered by climbing plants, they will evolve seasonally, bringing shade and a feeling of freshness.
- Durable material: corten steel weathers naturally over time while maintaining structural integrity, making it ideal for outdoor use.
