Installation of prisme shade structures in la Roche-sur-Yon, next to the Jacques Chirac esplanade
We were involved in the redevelopment of the Jacques Chirac Esplanade, formerly the market square, located on Rue du 8 Mai 1945 in La Roche-sur-Yon.
This central area is currently undergoing transformation, with the aim of offering a more pleasant urban environment for pedestrians.
As part of this initiative, we installed two Prisme n°5 shade structures to green and shade the surroundings of the new esplanade.
The goal is to create a genuine cool zone while delivering a modern design that blends seamlessly into this revitalized district.

Why choose prisme urban garden shade canopies?
The installation of Prisme shade structures meets both comfort and aesthetic requirements. Their framework is specifically designed to support climbing plants, encouraging biodiversity and providing natural shade. The geometric silhouette of the Prisme range adds a contemporary identity to the public space. These structures not only encourage relaxation, but also extend the life of vegetation by shielding it from direct sun and offering structural support.
Technical advantages: folding and welding steel
The design and production of the Prisme structures drew on our full expertise in urban greening furniture. The steel was precisely folded to create the distinctive shape, and our precision welding ensures the strength needed to support plant weight and resist weather conditions.
For this project, we manufactured two shade structures in “Mars 2525 sanded” finish, a colour carefully chosen to complement the esplanade’s landscaping and the nearby Saint-Louis church.
An installation in harmony with the district
With these two Prisme n°5 shade structures, the Jacques Chirac Esplanade gains both greenery and a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the municipality’s vision of a vibrant city centre. The urban furniture fits perfectly into the broader redevelopment plan.
