A custom urban development to revitalize the eco-district
Located at the intersection of the D6015 and D43, the custom Corten steel urban gardens in Maromme inject dynamism into this eco-neighborhood. Indeed, we wanted to design a friendly space for residents while promoting biodiversity and quality of life. Thus, these circular installations offer a pleasant break at the foot of the residences, in a wooded environment already conducive to relaxation. Furthermore, their placement aims to create a smooth transition between pedestrian, cycle, and vehicle traffic routes.
Custom urban gardens with a conical design
We opted for an almost conical design, achieved through precise rolling of Corten steel. Then, we integrated seats and backrests made of raw exotic wood, a wood naturally resistant to weather and heavy use. Furthermore, these soft, rounded shapes help to structure the square by creating islands of greenery. Finally, to enhance the visual contrast, the Corten steel borders surround planting beds selected for their year-round resistance and aesthetic appeal.
