The director of a senior living facility contacted us to to landscape a yard. We accompany them throughout the project in order to jointly design the most suitable solution. Indeed, for the layout of a space, we integrate the needs of the users into our approach.
Thanks to this arrangement with urban furniture, the courtyard becomes a living space in its own right where its various inhabitants and visitors can gather. Through this project, we propose a solution that meets the expectations of users as well as the project owner. The director turned to ATECH with the initial idea of installing a water feature. While it is certainly an attractive design, is it the best solution for this space?
At first glance, this residential complex could benefit from additional improvements. First and foremost, when designing a residential courtyard, it is important to consider the needs and expectations of its users and residents.
The integration of planters brings greenery. Installing numerous seating areas, distributed as much as possible across the available space, offers residents different areas and facilitates individual appropriation of the place. Picnic-style tables provide a new space for interaction in the heart of the courtyard and are a vector for activity. These various arrangements within this courtyard Create rest areas. A living space in its own right

With this redesign, the residence demonstrates its commitment to turning this space into a place for social interaction by transforming it into an additional living area for the residents. Residents can now gather there and enjoy the outdoor space. The benches and seating areas arranged along the walls offer quieter, slightly secluded spots. Redesigning the courtyard in this way creates a new space that encourages interaction among residents. This area provides a new opportunity to organize activities.
Product selection and production:
Benches and banquettes from the ranges Pastel and A-LINE are arranged on either side of the courtyard, leaving a significant open space in the center.
Among other things, the project owner chooses Mosaic products for landscaping the courtyard. We manufacture Mosaic picnic tables with seating and cladding for planter boxes.
Our Mosaïque products are set apart by their unique volumes and shapes, achieved through cutting and folding the material. To reach this result, aluminum is the default choice because it is a flexible and malleable material. We then integrate an LED lighting system into the structure.
