Plants in the Service of Architecture
At the heart of Boulevard Haussmann, this greening project demonstrates how urban furniture can help transform outdoor spaces. Through a composition of triangular urban gardens and custom-made planters, greenery is harmoniously integrated into the site's architecture while creating new spaces for conviviality.
Designed to meet the constraints of the location, this development combines design, functionality, and nature to offer users a more pleasant, lively, and sustainable environment.
Urban gardens that structure the space
We opted for an almost conical design, achieved through precise rolling of Corten steel. Then, we integrated seats and backrests made of raw exotic wood, a wood naturally resistant to weather and heavy use. Furthermore, these soft, rounded shapes help to structure the square by creating islands of greenery. Finally, to enhance the visual contrast, the Corten steel borders surround planting beds selected for their year-round resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Bottomless custom-made containers
To complete the landscaping, custom bottomless planters were created to encourage the natural development of the plants. This solution allows the plantings to root directly into the soil while benefiting from a framework that is perfectly integrated into the project.
Specifically developed to meet the site's constraints, these planters offer great design freedom and adapt to desired dimensions and shapes. They contribute to the creation of a cohesive whole where plants and architecture engage in harmonious dialogue.
This tailor-made approach illustrates ATECH's expertise in designing sustainable developments that combine technical requirements, landscape quality, and creative freedom.
A development in the heart of Haussmann Boulevard
At the turn of Boulevard Haussmann, this green patio offers a true breath of fresh air within a dense urban environment. Surrounded by remarkable buildings with typically Parisian facades, this landscaped space demonstrates how greenery can enrich existing architecture while providing greater comfort to users.
For this project, carried out in collaboration with the Gally Gardens, ATECH designed trapezoidal planters combined with wooden seating, thus creating spaces conducive to relaxation and conviviality. This achievement once again illustrates the importance of nature in the city and its ability to sustainably transform outdoor spaces.
